The executive team has many years of solid business experience in the IT industry in the region. Each of executive team members has minimum 15+ years of working experience in the region and in the US with international companies like Cisco Systems and Microsoft Corporations, as well as the neXgen Advisory Group.
Jawwad Rehman - Managing Director & Partner
Jawwad Rehman is the Managing Director and a Partner at LiveRoute, a company based out of Dubai and focused on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Cloud Computing as its only channel to provide business critical applications to Enterprises, Mid Market and Governments across the Middle East Region.
Jawwad comes with rich experience spanning over seventeen years in the IT industry; Jawwad held various high profile responsibilities for two of the global IT leaders, Microsoft Corporation & Cisco Systems. It was his rich experience in the IT industry that led him into establishing an exciting SaaS & IT solutions and services company as LiveRoute.
He graduated from University of Washington, Michael G. Foster School of Business, in Seattle Washington, an elite business school on the west coast of United States. Jawwad Moved to Dubai in 1997 to establish Microsoft's corporate business across Gulf and Eastern Mediterranean countries as Regional Sales Manager. He was promoted as the Country Manager for Microsoft to head Pakistan's operation in year 2000, where he served for 7 years. During his tenure in Pakistan, Microsoft built a strong presence, very positive image, a buzzing partner ecosystem & a thriving business for Microsoft in the country. Jawwad was able to establish a solid foundation for Microsoft's future growth across various segments, namely Enterprise, Public Sector, SMB segment and Developer Community.
After his successful tenure as Country Manager, Jawwad was appointed as a Corporate Director of Microsoft's Global ISV strategy at the HQ of Microsoft in Redmond, Washington. Jawwad was instrumental in delivering solid results just in 2 years and made tangible impacts across 40 subsidiaries of Microsoft globally to identify and manage the right ISVs globally for Microsoft.
After 15 successful years at Microsoft and being a consistent top performer, Jawwad was recruited by Cisco Systems in 2007 as the Head of Business & Operations, where he played a prominent role as part of Cisco's regional leadership team and helped managed $400 million regional business for Cisco System. At Cisco Jawwad was responsible for managing day to day business activities across 7 regional countries as a business partner to the Regional Managing Director. Jawwad's focus at Cisco was to help build a strong business, deliver on good governance, drive business compliance and deliver efficiencies.
After serving at Cisco Systems for two years, Jawwad decided to join hands with some of the top talents of local IT Industry & very well respected IT thought leaders and launched LiveRoute, as their own IT venture that would cover the entire Middle East region.
Jawwad is passionate about helping business across the region to reach their full potential by helping them become more efficient, reduce cost and have speedy solutions for their business needs. His passion is answered through the upcoming revolution of Software-as-a-Service delivery model, where LiveRoute is established as one of the thought leaders as a SaaS provider in the region to offer key applications through the cloud and offer the required Professional Services to deliver the promise of SaaS to customers across Middle East.

GHAZI ATALLAH - PARTNER
Ghazi Atallah is the MD of neXgen, a company focused on helping Telecom and real estate developers extract business value out of next generation communications infrastructures. neXgen is filling the MENA expertise gap of advisory services that converge Business, Services and Next Generation Technology to help customer acquisition and retention.
Ghazi Was the MD/VP for Cisco's Service Provider (SP) business in the Emerging Markets theatre that covers Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as Russia and CIS countries, a $1.1B business for Cisco. He was also GM of Cisco's MENA operations for 3 years, As well as being GM of Cisco Saudi Arabia for 2 years. Read more...
Prior to that in Canada, He was Chief Network Architect in the network planning group for Teleglobe Canada, Canada's international carrier.
Ghazi received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Canada and a minor degree in Business Administration. He also received executive MBAs from Stanford and London Business Schools.
Ghazi Received the Telecom leadership award at the 8th Arab Internet and Telecom conference in May 2006.
He was also named among most influential ME IT leaders in Al Idari magazine's special issue of TOP 100 ME business leaders in Feb 2006.
Ghazi is a member of the Board of Advisors of SAMENA telecommunications council.
Ghazi is a founding member and board advisor in the ME IT forum and Arab IT Council. He also sits on advisory boards for several Educational institutions including the UAE University IT College.
Ghazi is also a member of the board of directors of the Young Arab Leaders in the UAE.
